A town under the rule of outlaws. A woman in danger. A deputy turns hero. “Colbert, I can fight. I won’t be in your way. And you’ll watch my back,” Thelma O’Malley was serious. “Fine,” Deputy Colbert said. “I think Randell Caricker has your sister. And it seems like Caricker was keeping another woman captive. You just make sure that you’re careful, and that you stay alive, and I’ll make sure I bring your sister back.” Thelma nodded, grateful for all the help that Colbert had given her and her family. It was time to give something back to him, though, and so she raised her Cooper Pocket, carefully aiming from where she stood behind the tree. Thelma fired her shot. At first, she didn’t know if she had managed to shoot any of the outlaws, but then she heard a dull thud, followed by more shouts from the outlaws. “Did I hit someone?” Thelma asked Colbert. “You did. You shot one of them in the chest.” Can Deputy Colbert and Thelma stand up to Caricker and his army of outlaws?
